What a spectacular evening!! Talk about being at the right place at the right time- Bloomingdales invited the first 50 people whole commented on their FB statues to a private Rita Ora concert tonight at the I Heart Radio Theatre in NYC- I was #56 but by the the time the “non eligibles” were off the list I made it in and got to bring a + 1. Honestly I wasn’t a HUGE fan of Rita Ora but I’m so glad I went, I had so much fun. With less then 100 people at the venue we were less than 10ft away from her and really got a up close and personal concert experience.
Tonight I wore a dress I got at Century 21 last year- just today I got this belt at TJs which I feel gives it a complete “look” for just $12.00- in my opinion made the outfit :)
Nonetheless spectacular night- a big thank you I Heart Radio
Hi! It’s definitely sweater weather here in NYC- I don’t think it could be more beautiful. I was on a mission this fall to amp up my wardrobe with some new sweaters- I love that you can throw on some leggings with really any style and still have a nice complete look yet comfy :) I found this one at TJ’s and am obsessed- I love the bold graphic stripe print and monotone color way, to give it some pop of color I added an olive pant- I found these yesterday at Century 21 for just $30 and can already tell they are my favorite pants, they have a great fit!
Get to fashion discount stores so many great piece for great prices :)
Bloomingdales friends and family rolls around just a few times a year, I took advantage of buying a few things for myself!
New Milly iPhone case- I’m so happy my mom is sending the new 5s, my 4 is slowly becoming more sucky and sucky everyday-I’m one spoiled girl but very appreciative. With a new phone you have to have a new case. I got this one for an awesome price $22.00 regularly $40 + free shipping. I love it, it’s really seasonless and the white accents will match my phone!
P earrings- bringing out my inner Kim K (ha) I love these initial earrings + they are double P just like my initials. I’m a sucker for some post earrings so had to add these to my collection.
Cheers to shopping. Tonight ends the free shipping online
The cats meow….
Hi hi I was lucky enough to get home for a few days this weekend- mom and I did some shopping and Im so excited I scored these cheetah Dolce Vita oxfords from Marshall’s. I see oxfords all over the city and always love them on everyone else, I decided to try the look in a printed version and rather than $67 I just paid $35. Can’t wait to add some spunk to my fall wardrobe with these.
FALL! The weather in New York has been dreamy, warm but a nice cool breeze to make for the perfect temperature. This weekend being the first of fall I was pumped to bring out my booties, pleather skirt and tank I purchased from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale- bring on some cooler days!
I had the most beautiful weekend in DC visiting Matt! I was able to snag a lot of new items over the last week traveling, which I’m excited to blog about, but what has made me very happy with this sudden Fall weather is this jacket- nothing fancy but I’m obsessed-I call it my “cool girl jacket” it gives me an alter ego (ha). Simple like a jean jacket, I can wear this bomber jacket with everything under the sun and it was just $30 at the Gap outlet!
The last day of the Shoe Show and I’m feeling like Peter Pan in these hunter green leggings, but I kinda dig it! When I first put this outfit together I was unsure because a more safe route would be to have worn black leggings but instead I went with a hunter green (which you can’t even tell in this photo)
but it adds a nice pop with my mushroom shoes from RD. Like I said in my last post this top is nice because it has a sheer underlay underneath which gives the look of layers which I’m crazy about but normally hate doing!
It’s always hectic traveling for work but I try to make a mini me vaca on these trips, although not the typical vacation location it’s nice to have some me time and a little R&R. It’s pretty quiet at night when your traveling alone so I try to get out and walk around which of course leads to shopping. The wallet is tight right now but all of this combined was under $100- and I think much needed.
-The chambray top on the left and plain tunic length black tank on far right are from Nordstrom Rack (Chicago) $34.00 total.
-The sweater in the middle is a fave (I’m wearing tomorrow, look for a post) it’s SO soft and is kinda funky because it has a sheer lining that hangs below the hem of the sweater, this is from Marshall’s and was just $19.99
-The graphic floral tank and Black leggings are too from Nordstrom Rack (Minneapolis) and were just $43.00, I think I’ll easily be able to wear this through fall with black booties and a leather jacket!
Back to reality
In spirit of the CATS winning I went shopping for Blue! Not really, but I do love this top that I found at Nordstrom Rack clearance’d out for just $24 bucks tonight at the Mall of America- even though its a tank it’s a deep enough blue I can wear with jeggings and black booties into fall!
I’m shoe showing this weekend and pulled out my new Gap sweater I got for just $10 to wear with my RD boots. This sweater was a steal because the material allows you to wear it year around. It’s knit so would be adorable on the beach with shorts or how I’m wearing it now for Fall with Brown boots! Have a great weekend!
Hey hey, it’s Friday, well for me so let’s class it up!!! On my shopping adventures at the last shoe show I got this striped knit top at Loft for just $6.00- can’t beat that :) this top will easily carry into fall with some cognac boots. The necklace was purchased this past weekend in AC at Francesca’s for $15- their jewelry is hit or miss but this one was a steal as it gives me a similar look a the Kate Spade that retails for $198. LOVE IT
