SNEAKERS!!! Its so funny I really use to not be a shoe person but since working in the business the last 2 years my whole outlook on shoes has really changed… guess it comes with the territory :)
Slip on sneakers are essential this spring- you can grab a pair at all price points as you can see above (I opted for the Peter Pilotto pair from Target clearanced out for $14). Get a ditzy floral sparkle or animal print to add some POP to your outfit. HOW CUTE?!?
keto-sans-potatoes ASKED: I just got a pair of the JR knock offs you posted. I'm thinking of getting a second pair. Are they that comfy? I didn't want to buy two at a time in case they weren't comfortable.
They are SO comfy- I had my last pairs for 2 years and needed some newer as I have wore them out. They are great, and they sell out so be quick deciding!! enjoy
They’re BACCKKKK- the best and most comfy JR look alikes are back in stock at Shoe Show! I’m so obsessed with these sandals- I’m going on my second round of them :) for the price and the fact that there a trillion times more comfy than jacks these are a spring must have!
Chanel Bags Reach New Levels of Expensive
70% in just 5 years- stick to the classic timeless styles that will never lose worth!
Whoo hoo loving my new cozy sweater from the Dillard’s sale! Today I’m running around shopping with my parents, and it was the perfect simple throw on sweater- paired it with my RD max leather boots and black jeggings for an easy chic look.
End of season shopping!
NYC is still full on winter weather, and not that I can say there is much difference in the south but the stores have totally did a swap in merchandise and bright colors are everywhere. With the swap of seasons comes major sales. I just got back to KY and made a pit stop at Dillards, today kicked off one of their rare sales that markdowns were an additional 40% off! I scored some great items I know I still wear for the next month or so but will become staples in my closet for next year!
Do as the Romans do!!
Although so much push back from family, friends, and boyfriend I’m super pumped for these gladiator sandals and SPRING!! I was inspired when I saw Kourtney Kardashian (love her style) rocking the trend last summer. After visiting the shoe shows last week in Vegas, I determined I had to have a pair for the upcoming season. I just ordered the ones on the right from DSW for $44.00- not even realizing they are totally a knock off of Kourts Stuart Weitzman which retail for $398- how fab!
Im en route home from the land of VEGAS- great trip with my lovely co workers, can’t wait to go back in August!! With this somewhat warmer than usual weather in Vegas right now I played with season-less pieces with new Fall 14 boots (since that’s what we are trying to sell ;))
The first outfit is a top from Burlington (?!??? I know right) and the pants (actually pleather, hard to see in photo) are from Nordstrom… these pants are nearly impossible to get, I ordered twice before actually getting my pair- so cute and perfect to jazz up an outfit, WORTH the wait!
I actually wasn’t sold on the second outfit, until I put everything together day of, but it ended up being one of my favorite outfits. I’m a sucker for anything cheetah and drop waist so this dress was totally typical- I added a leather utilitarian type boot and chunky necklace to give this look some pop.
The last outfit needed to be comfy yet fashionable since I was packing up the booth/ traveling.I added an awesome statement necklace from Etsy to my go to chambray shirt to add some glam to this outfit.
In spirit of Valentines I pulled out my Lilly Pulitzer lipstick top! Since moving to NY I have somewhat outgrown the typical Lilly look- now instead of always wearing wayfarers and Jack Rogers like every other southern girl I try to mix pieces to give a new look that is not super preppy and somehow make Lilly work in the mean streets of Brooklyn :)
I’m wearing my paige skinnys, Lilly Pulitzer lipstick top, C Wonder LOVE earrings and black ankle booties from RR + carrying my new cobalt blue satchel from Cole Haan with a top knot.
Squealsss how fab is my new handbag?!?? I fell in love with this last year christmas shopping but couldn’t bring myself to pay $500 on a Cole Haan bag- being on the hunt for a new satchel I found this beauty on eBay for a third of the retail price, still brand new with tags!! So excited for this bag to bring a pop of color to my wardrobe :)
Hi there! Today kicks off the next few weeks of market for me in the shoe world, NYC this week and Vegas the following- such an exciting time to see the trends for fall 14.
This season we take a look at Rebellious Romance- grunge and the whole 90s look is suppose to be key for Fall. My shoe, a leather boot by RD’s new line is a pull on work boot- I’m obsessed, and my dress a sale rack special (haha) from Urban—- PERFECTION I must say
Did somebody say BROOKLYN? Tonight my roommate and I are heading to barclays to cheer on the Nets. We try to atleast go to one game a season even though they stink to drink a beer, look into sports, and cheer on our local team.
Today I’m wearing a local made Brooklyn shirt by Head Hoods, my new leather jacket I got clearance’d out for just $99 vs orig $490 price tag and my paige premium denim pants!
Since my original LV key holder was stolen last year with the rest of my loot, Santa surprised me with a replacement! This little cheetah cutie attached is from Etsy and was just $11.00 shipped (bubblesandcompany) these things back in KY are priced outrageous, I think like $35 bucks?!! So very happy to get this custom one to match my new LV key holder for such an amazing price! Ps 4 etsy purchases this week already- lord help me :)
